Kemppi has launched WeldEye Fleet Management, a new module for the universal WeldEye software. The Fleet Management module completes the welding quality control process by offering a big picture throughout the connected or non-connected welding fleet and other equipment available.
Seeing the big picture with a single view reduces errors while helping to manage daily operations. For industrial welding, quality is at the core of the operations. However, quality does not happen by accident. Being the sum of many, top-level quality consists of defect-free and lasting results and accurate work, but also control beyond everything.
What is WeldEye Fleet Management?
WeldEye’s new module Fleet Management is an efficient machine registry for managing all welding devices and other equipment, regardless of the manufacturer, in the same system where qualifications and procedures are managed. It allows for extending your vision from specific welding machines to the entire equipment fleet – connected or non-connected. It completes the quality management by giving accurate data on each piece of equipment on-site and helps to see the big picture.
Whether about validations, maintenance, details of your welding fleet with warranty dates, taken-into-use dates, etc., the Fleet Management registry offers easy and adjustable reporting. The data is flexibly imported or exported as datasheets on Excel, and the software allows for attaching files such as validation and maintenance certificates for each machine. Furthermore, the users receive email reports about upcoming validation and maintenance needs. WeldEye Fleet Management also allows for inspecting the equipment by location and site and is thus a perfect tool for larger multi-site companies.
Availability separately or as an add-on
Starting in May 2024, WeldEye Fleet Management will be automatically included in the WeldEye for Welding Quality Management package for both new and existing users. For other WeldEye module users, it is available separately as an add-on. When connecting Kemppi welding devices to WeldEye modules (Quality Management, ArcVision, Production Analysis), the machines are automatically added to the Fleet Management modules machine registry. The module also offers easy access to the technical data, for example, user manuals, of the latest Kemppi welding devices such as the MasterTig or X5 FastMig.
